Chemical peels (medium depth)

The function of Retinol on the skin:  Exfoliates the skin, improves fine lines and wrinkles, plumps and firms the skin (improvement on skin laxity) and promotes a brighter, rejuvenated, clear and even complexion.

The ingredient technology used:

•  Liposomal Retinol (3%) + Bio-Retinol = Magnified peel efficacy.  This also allows for a faster absorption, deeper penetration and therefore an enhanced effect. 
• Additional Actives (Ectoin, Niacinamide and Sodium Hyaluronate) = downregulation of excessive inflammation and combats irritation which might be experienced post treatment.

It is normal to experience mild flaking and dryness for 2 to 3 days after the treatment. The small molecular size of retinol that penetrates deeply into the skin will generate the production of new skin cells and collagen, which will result in firmer, plumper skin, as well as reduce the appearance of sun damage, age spots, pigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles. Trichloroacetic acid(TCA) peels are very powerful chemical peels.TCA is self-neutralizing within minutes after application, and appearance of a white frost indicates the endpoint of the peel.A special Cosmo Peel Cream is then applied, containing lactic, salicylic, citric, ascorbic acids and retinyl palmitate. While it produces more dramatic results than other peels, it also requires a longer recovery time. Treated areas take about one to seven days to heal.The skin may be red and swollen. New skin might temporarily be lighter or darker than normal.
